Yeah I know the Jackets a tad off, I didn't realise how big I was in the frame. I'm going for Mark 2 this October with changes to the shoulder guards and the mask before I put him to rest and Mark 3.

However I will be doing :iconandrewryanart:'s Dragon Effect Version of Thane as well

If you can do it, maybe go with leather this time? I know it's more expensive and a bit harder to work with, but the effect is spectacular, trust me.
Other than that though, this is definitely one of the better cosplays of Thane I've seen out there, and I've seen quite a few. :)

Thank you, however I would never use leather for a Cosplay- ever. It's a touchy subject and I can appreciate it with everyday things like bags and shoes but for pageantry: it feels wrong not to mention I'm not at that skill level to use leather. And besides- the correct form to use would be Interlaced/fuced pleather or graduated pleather/PVC. He is a sci-fi character therefore futuristic materials would be needed

Thanks for the input though, dualy notes. And I'm sure :iconsketchmcdraw: has a big ego lost from this too

Pleather would be perfectly acceptable, of course. As long as it has the same look as the original it's all gravy. I only suggested leather since that's what Thane was wearing in ME, that much was obvious.

The only thing I could note on the mask was that the chin needed to be a tad more sunken in/thinner, but that also depends on the cosplayer's facial structure, so not sure how feasible that would be.

Other than that it's quite good. :)

I disagree, as a futuristic universe, Leather is obsolete and it doesn't have a shine like that. Having studied the stylings and artwork for over year I would have determined that this would be a case given the the time and technology given to them. honestly It would have been printed Hexograms onto black PVC with interlacing since that is what he actually wears. Leather graving is not what he has since each and ever individual scale on a leather texture. However unless you have the money to finance that (aka a proper salary competitive job), its hard.

It's based on my structure but alas.

Can we stop discussing this. I believe we have come at an inpass and whilst you think one way, until you have done a cosplay, the feasibility of such a thing is just not possible given genetics/income/funding/technique/skill and you and I would run a risk of offence.
